History
“From Small Beginnings…“
On 30th January 1989, Eskra held its first playgroup session with 13 children in attendance. The playgroup was named ‘Guys and Dolls’ and operated in a small room now currently the gym. Our Playgroup now operates over two rooms.
In 2001 after tirelessly seeking grants and fundraising a purpose built childcare centre was completed. The launch of the day care brought about the new name of ’Playtime’.
In January 2017, we received recognition of our charity status through the charity commission NI.
Playtime is a community business, all profits go directly back into the business for upgrade of facilities and resources.
Playtime strives to continually develop it’s service and reach the highest possible standard for the families relying on us.
In 2010 we secured funding from DARD to build an outdoor multi-use games area, which can be used by all ages.
